Post PodCamp Boston Thanks
October 30, 2007 – 10:02 pmWell I’ve returned from PodCamp Boston refreshed and energized by the discussions there. A big thanks to Chris Brogan and Chris Penn for organizing another great PodCamp. And additional thanks to Andrea Mercado, Whitney Hoffman, Jeff Pulver, C.C. Chapman, Aaron Brazell, Andy Stanberry, Michael Bailey, and all the other cool people I met over the weekend. Norm, Justin, Locobone, and I (plus honorary Pittsburgher Tommy) really enjoyed the conference. Since this weekend’s events have already been written about, filmed, and photographed extensively, I’ll just mention one interesting spinoff project that I’m currently working on.
One of the many interesting talks we had during PodCamp was how to find and schedule for guests on your blog, podcast, video series, web project, etc. So right now I’m working with Norm and Andy on developing a new web application/site to facilitate that sort of thing. It’s still really early in development, so feel free to chime in with any thoughts on whether something like that would be useful. Also, if you want to get involved with the project by helping develop features, determine the look of the site, beta test, or whatever, let me know.

Sounds like it was a fantastic event. I’m glad you guys got so much from it, and I’m sorry I missed it.
Maybe we could brainstorm your site/webapp idea at BlogFest. I’d suggest the next Geek Night but that’s not for a few weeks, and surely you’ll want to maintain your momentum and get started before then. Maybe a brainstorming session at a friendly pub is in order?
